STEP 1

There are four square screw covers on the upper side of the screen bezel.

STEP 2

You can remove all covers with a sharp object.

Glue covers somewhere on the screen bezel so they don't get lost during the display disassembly procedure.

STEP 3

Remove all four screws found under those covers.

STEP 4

Insert your fingers between the screen bezel and LCD screen and start separating the bezel from the display assembly.

Be careful. The screen bezel is very fragile.

You'll have to wiggle the bezel in order to separate it from the display assembly.

STEP 5

Continue removing the screen bezel on the upper side of the display.

STEP 6

Pull the right hinge cover and remove it from the laptop.

STEP 7

Remove the left hinge cover.

STEP 8

Remove two screws found under the hinge covers.

STEP 9

Now you should be able to separate the screen bezel completely and remove it from the display.

STEP 10

Separate the LCD screen from the display back cover and place it face down on the keyboard/palmrest assembly.

STEP 11

Now you can access the video cable on the back of the screen.

STEP 12

Remove sticky tape securing the video cable connector.

Disconnect the video cable connector from the screen.

STEP 13

Now you can remove the LCD screen. It's ready for the replacement.

Replace the screen and assemble the laptop following all disassembly steps in the reverse direction.
